It would seem the way the bundles work on the AppStore (that has pissed off developers for years) is what's now biting Apple in the arse. They can't have multiple bundles, can't have apps that were Mac only now become Universal, etc. So we end up with two versions of all the apps in the store. (facepalm emoji here)
Rather than fix the AppStore for their own apps, they've left it broken and we have the confusing mess that the Creator Studio Bundle brings.
It would make so much more sense to have smaller bundles available as well as the main bundle, including charging separately for individual apps. The AppStore underpinnings are held together with string and hot glue and are creaking at the seams.
If Apple can't fix it for their own apps...
